Studying Music Theory & Composition at the University of Houston, and North Texas State University,  he has composed numerous music scores for industrial films, documentaries and award-winning NASA films and exhibits.   His musical documentary "Journey into Space", which he produced, directed, composed, performed, engineered and mixed all of the music, was featured on Showtime, The Movie Channel, VH-1, Nickelodeon and Hit Videos USA.   After acheiving success on his own label, it was purchased by MCA Universal Home Video in 1987, and was available in Blockbuster Video for over 10 years.   It received rave reviews in American Cinematographer, Cash Box, People and Video magazines, was nominated for a 1987 Billboard AFI Video Award, and won 1988 Best Foreign Film at the Fiera di Milano, Italy.

Relocating to the DC area for CNN TV as Audio Designer in 2004, he performed every Fri-Sat for 100 weeks in Old Town Alexandria, VA., Wed-Thurs for 6 weeks at the Ballston Hilton, for the Washington Capitals Christmas Party, many private functions, and for 800+ people at the French Embassy in Washington, D.C., for Professionals in the City 2006 New Year's Eve Parisian Gala.

Pianist/vocalist Craig Jackson, an award-winning composer and instrumentalist,  has a jazzy style and voice you will enjoy singing standards by Sinatra, Bennett, Jobim, Michael Franks, Billy Joel, Elton John, Michael Buble', Santana, James Taylor, Eagles, and the Beatles.
